This striking Spanish 1950s metal ceiling fixture features two tiers of overlapping hand-formed leaves arranged in a dramatic sunburst design around a central frosted glass diffuser. The sculptural leaves curl gracefully upward, creating a wonderful sense of movement while softly concealing the light source within. Its original hand-applied dark gilt and blackened finish highlights the texture of the metalwork and lends the fixture a rich, sophisticated character.

Recently rewired to accommodate two candelabra bulbs, the fixture emits a warm, diffused glow through the frosted glass center. Retaining its original finish with an attractive age-related patina, it remains in very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Measuring 20 inches in diameter and 4 inches in height, the fixture combines the sculptural quality of a sunburst form with the refined craftsmanship characteristic of mid-century Spanish metalwork.
