Spanish 1950s Copper-Plated Iron Leaf Pendant with White Opaline Glass Globe ( LC0826-07)
Spanish 1950s Copper-Plated Iron Leaf Pendant with White Opaline Glass Globe ( LC0826-07)
An unusual Spanish pendant light from the 1950s, featuring hand-worked, copper-plated iron leaves arranged around a white opaline glass globe approximately 8 inches in diameter. Smaller leaves curve upward to form an open crown, while the longer leaves sweep gracefully downward over the glass, creating an elegant botanical silhouette. A rich, aged copper patina highlights the finely textured leaves and complements the soft glow of the opaline globe.
Measuring 15 inches in diameter and 28 inches high, including the chain and ceiling canopy, this pendant is well suited to a hallway, above a dining table, or in a powder room. Its organic form brings softness to a modern interior and a sculptural, modern touch to a traditional setting.
Recently rewired and in very good vintage condition.
Spain, circa 1950.
