Vintage American Glass and Brass Pendant Light, circa 1960s (LC0315-01)
A striking mid-century American pendant light featuring a substantial molded glass shade with a distinctive combination of vertical and horizontal ribbing. The deeply textured glass creates a prismatic effect, beautifully diffusing and refracting the light when illuminated. Brass fittings provide a warm contrast to the clear glass and give the fixture a clean, architectural presence.
Dating to the 1960s, the design reflects the industrial-modern lighting aesthetic associated with makers such as Holophane. Its generous 20-inch diameter makes it especially well suited over a dining table, kitchen island, entry hall, or as a statement fixture in a larger room.
Recently rewired for use with standard candelabra bulbs. Very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age.
