A striking French wrought iron floor lamp dating to the 1940s, distinguished by its strong architectural form and exceptional hand-forged craftsmanship. The square stem is accented by pointed corner extensions, creating a sculptural silhouette that is both elegant and distinctive. The lamp is raised on an intricate tripod base with tapered legs terminating in graceful upward scrolls, providing both stability and visual interest.

The hand-polished iron surface has developed a rich, dark patina over time, highlighting the texture and character of the forged metal. The proportions are particularly pleasing, allowing the lamp to make a statement while remaining refined and versatile.

Recently professionally rewired for safety and functionality, the lamp features a high-quality double-cluster socket and is ready for daily use. It is in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. Not sold with shade (photographed with an 11” H x 14½” top diameter x 18½” bottom diameter shade).
