This Spanish-style bench has a hand-forged gilt iron base with gently curving legs that end in scroll feet. A subtle twist marks the center of the stretcher. The seat is upholstered in a cotton-linen fabric striped in green, ochre, and brown. The ochre stripes pick up the warm gold of the softly patinated ironwork.
Part of 145 Antiques’ vintage-inspired collection, this bench was recently handcrafted in Europe using traditional ironworking methods. Measuring 17" high, 30 ½" wide, and 17 ¼" deep, it makes a handsome seat beneath a window or in an entry hall.
