Offered as a pair, these handsome Spanish gilt iron benches were recently made in Europe using traditional ironworking techniques. Each bench features a sculptural base with sweeping scrolled legs joined by a slender stretcher with a decorative twisted center, creating an elegant, open silhouette.

The iron frames have a softly aged gilt finish, applied to create the warmth and subtle variation of an older surface. Colorful striped cotton-linen upholstery brings a relaxed note to the design and works beautifully against the muted gold of the bases.

Each bench measures 17 inches high, 30.5 inches wide, and 17.25 inches deep. Their versatile scale makes them particularly striking at the foot of a bed or opposite a sofa, while also allowing them to be used separately within the same interior.

The finishes are intentionally aged and subtly varied, giving the pieces the character and individuality associated with vintage examples while retaining the practicality of new construction.
