Spanish 1950's Iron Floor Lamp With Twisted Stem with Patinated Finish (LF0323-03)
This striking 1950s Spanish iron floor lamp exemplifies timeless craftsmanship and sculptural form. Its double twisted central stem, is visually anchored by square divider accents and rises from an arched tripod base with claw-like feet—both decorative and structurally stable. The elegant tripod base gracefully for both support and visual interest. Just beneath the socket, a ruffled-edge bobeche adds a refined finishing touch, its slight natural warp lending charm and character.
The hand-applied matte black finish reveals hints of gold beneath, creating an uneven, richly nuanced patina that sets this piece apart. The surface bears intentional irregularities and natural wear, adding depth and character consistent with its mid-century origin.
Recently professionally rewired for safety and functionality, the lamp features a high-quality double-cluster socket and a black silk-wrapped cord. It is in very good vintage condition with minor signs of wear consistent with age and use. Please note that the lampshade is not included with floor lamp. (photographed with 11” H x 14½” top and 18½” bottom diameter shade).
